As much as I don't like that the days are getting shorter and cooler, I think transitional dressing is so much fun. The fact that there are two seasons to draw inspiration has proven to result in a plethora of outfit possibilities. I like the idea of wearing brights into fall, while making the look more seasonally appropriate with a pair of forest green trousers. The result is a look that seems to admit to the nearing of fall while still being optimistic that sunny days won't leave us quite yet.
Wearing: H&M blouse and jacket, Zara trousers and shoes, Coach bag

I can definitely tell the change in weather here in Vancouver as well! Makes for good layering times though :) Hehe.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how much I love those trousers! I need a pair for myself, also, those heels? Ugh <3 You have such a covetable closet Jen!
That's a great outfit! I love how you've paired the colors (coral, green, white, beige etc.) They blend so well together. It's a great look! Love the jacket.

ReplyDeleteWow- that's pretty much my ideal transitional seasons outfit. You look amazing- simple yet chic!
ReplyDeleteThe pants are such a great cut AND color... Again, I'm NOT good at blocking at all... I think I still don't really get it, because I always manage to do prints, stripes and something neutral instead of solid colors, but maybe one day I'll get it. I just need to keep reading you.
ReplyDeleteMy snakeskin on snakeskin print outfit was inspired by you. FYI.

LOVE the combination of green + pink! they look amazing. your shoes are to die for as well!
ReplyDeleteI always love it when I see pieces I've been eyeing on blogs... Then I know for sure I need to go for it! I've had my eye on those green trousers since they came in at Zara, but just couldn't decide what I'd wear them with. I never thought of coral, but it looks absolutely charming! I just might have to pick up my own pair next time I'm on Robson :)

Such a beautiful look (as usual) Jen! I love the colours and how you so expertly mixed both seasonal elements - the fall tones of the shoes and the pants with the summery blouse and jacket. Perfection. You look pretty as can be like normal :). Happy birthday again love, hope you had an amazing day!
ReplyDeleteAlex xoxo

Hey Jen, I've been wanting to ask you. Is the Coach bag still available? I couldn't find it through coach's website. I like it a lot cuz it seems to go well with a lot of your outfits. Thanks in advance! :)
ReplyDeleteLove love that blazer! You look stunning as usual <3 x

An absolutely gorgeous outfit
ReplyDeleteLove the Fall color-blocking outfit, Jen :D Each piece looks very sophisticated and mature but with the fun colors, they look amazing and very modern together :) I tried on those pointy pumps at Zara but left the store without them. Sigh... my feet are too big for ZARA's narrow fit pumps. *TEARS* :'(
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing, though, as always ;) When can we see your birthday outfit? :D
