{enjoying an outdoor dinner at the park while catching up with a friend}
That window of time between the warmth of the day and the coolness of the night during the summer months is my favourite-- the temperature is perfect, and everything just seems especially beautiful in that light. This past week, I've had numerous opportunities to enjoy this and feel immeasurably blessed; here are some snapshots that I took to remember summer by when the seasons start to change.

these pictures are so wonderful and i envy you and your non-100 degree summer days! for us it's literally a humid oven out there even up until 10pm these days... hopefully come November i can share in some of your summer enjoyment. :)

The golden days of summer, cherish them. Summers become less sweet with age. If you have the summer free, take the time to enjoy and cherish and soak up as much of it as you can--the days get more and more fleeting as time goes by, and some of these carefree days of summer youth become rarer and rarer with age. (Trust me. I'm old.)

Looks like such an amazing weekend! I feel like everyone had weekends like this the past week - relaxed, centered around food, sunny. So happy it's finally summer for us now, it's long overdue. Sad I missed seeing your lovely face last Sunday but I think I may have a new plan in the works, will email you ladies soon!

I had waffles with banana slices and maple syrup for dinner before. I MUST TRY two servings of frozen yogurt to replace dinner one day ;) I miss you girls like crazy. I wish I could've stayed longer so we could go out again! Come visit me in TO :)

That last photo is just gorgeous! Summer evenings are one of my favourite things of the year. That type of comfortable warmth that lets you wear flip flops and no jacket, where the sun is gone but the earth still feels warm.
