Because I've never found them to be very flattering for my legs, I've tended to shy away from heavier heeled booties in the past. However, practicality trumped vanity this year, and I've found myself hunting for a good pair of chunky ankle boots that I can actually walk in. This new pair from Loft 82 fit the bill - they are outrageously comfortable and I love that they have just enough detail to be visually interesting.

are you layering a vest outside a sleeveless coat outside a leather jacket? that is the most brilliant practical yet chic layering feat i've ever seen then! it all looks so expensive and high class :) the colour scheme is great too - not too blatantly festive but just the right pinch of "it's almost xmas!"

I've always felt the same way about my own legs and ankle boots. This year however I've gone full tilt into the look. I kinda love the look and as long as I get my proportions right, they work:)
