Sequins for day is not a new concept, but I've hardly done it as it seems to be more suitable juxtaposed with tomboyish, rugged pieces rather than most of the things in my closet. However, an overcast fall day proved to be the perfect time to use this skirt (previously worn here) for my own AM sequin look. Although I received a bit more attention from wearing it than I had anticipated (namely from several older ladies who commented on how "fancy" it looked), it proved to add a much needed burst of fun into a chilly day. I am usually not a fan of sequins and often don't wear them on principle, but you really made them work here! I think what did it for me is that you paired the skirt with darker, neutral basics - I think the look is very pretty!

I love this look! I think it should be mandatory for everyone to wear sequins during the day. Especially when the weather is gloomy out. Can you imagine how much better and brighter the city would look?
